Kylie Jenner’s Beauty Collection Kylie Cosmetics to Launch in Boots
Kylie Jenner’s beauty collection, Kylie Cosmetics, is set to launch in the UK, with Boots, Selfridges and Harrods in stock.
Younger sister Kardashian announced the news of her new line of ‘clean and vegan’ cosmetics on her Instagram profile last week.
Global beauty firm Coty, which owns Max Factor and Rimmel, acquired 51% of the brand in 2020 for nearly £ 1 billion.
Coty CEO Sue Y Nabi said, “We are excited to relaunch Kylie Cosmetics with a reformulated line that is truly on the cutting edge of everything Gen Z wants.”
At present, no date for the UK drop has been confirmed – customers were only informed “later this year”.
Alice Rafferty, Premium Beauty Senior Buying Manager, Boots UK said: “The launch of Kylie Cosmetics is a big moment for us and we are delighted to announce that its highly anticipated line will arrive at Boots later this year, making it more accessible. to UK Customers like never before.
Boots will stock the collection online and in select Boots stores, with customers available to sign up for updates to the range through their website.
The 23-year-old launched the line in 2015 with a trio of Kylie lip kits, which sold out in less than a minute, crashing the website.
The fifth most popular profile on Instagram with nearly 250 million followers, Jenner capitalized on her influence to promote the brand that is experiencing a meteoric rise in popularity.
The success of Kylie Cosmetics led Jenner to be named the youngest ‘self-made’ billionaire of 2019, sparking widespread dismay that her success was not tied to wealth or her family profile.
In a 2019 interview with Harpers Bazaar Arabia, the mother-of-one attributed the success of the business to her own mother, self-styled “mom” Kris Jenner.
She said: “I thank my mom very much for where Kylie Cosmetics is now.
“With my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, together we are just the dream team.”
