“The Boot” Trophy on display today in the Arkansas Union

Boot Trophy is on display for photos today.

Razorback fans, grab your cameras and head to the Arkansas Union! The legendary “Golden Boot” trophy, won by your # 21 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks, will be on display in the Arkansas Union Lounge from 10 am to 2 pm today, November 17th. Customers are invited to come and take their photos with the trophy.

The Razorbacks won the 67th game against LSU last Saturday in Baton Rouge, edging the Tigers 16-13 in overtime on the tip of Cam Little. The Golden Boot Trophy, which began trading schools in 1996, is about four feet tall and is plated with 24 karat gold and represents the states of Arkansas and Louisiana. The last time Arkansas owned “The Boot” was in 2015, when Arkansas defeated No.9 LSU, 31-14, also in Baton Rouge.

The win over LSU takes Arkansas to 7-3 on the season, the most games won since the 2016 season. The Razorbacks travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., This weekend to face the Alabama Crimson Tide, ranked number 2, before concluding the season at home on Nov. 26 against the Missouri Tigers.
